i'm back from NYCC! it was exhausting but fun. thanks so much to everyone who came by to see me at my various signings, i'm sorry my schedule was so scattered and confusing. i was running all over the place.
some bad news from the show is that my publisher isn't releasing Wet Moon 6 until a YEAR from now, in October 2012. i was pretty devastated to hear that but i guess i've accepted it, what can you do. the main reason is Oni's post-production and scheduling processes have changed and been streamlined over the past year or so, in addition to their schedule being overbooked.
i talked to them about me running a chunk of the book webcomic-style online before the print book comes out, like a page a week or something, just to get something out there. sigh. what a mess. this probably means i won't be at San Diego Comic Con next year but we'll see.
other news is that my new project was announced at the show, which is a relaunch of the 90s Image/Extreme/Rob Liefeld character Glory, drawn by me and written by Joe Keatinge. i'll post some artwork and here's a blurb about it all which also has an interior Glory page, check it out
. i was on a panel with Robert Kirkman, Eric Stephenson, Rob Liefeld, Tim Seeley/ColtNoble
, the aforementioned Joe Keatinge, and Jim McCann, it was really weird.
thank you again to everyone, i really appreciate everything.
more later, i'm pooped!
