haha, only sort of, the gameplay stuff they talk about doesn't actually make sense, it's mostly gibberish combined with repurposed Magic: The Gathering jargon.

It was well detailed tho. I never did ever get into it, but when you draw it the way you did, you at least respect it as what it is.

thanks! you're right, the verisimilitude is the most important thing, if it's believable then it doesn't matter if i've worked out all the rules to the game behind the scenes.

i'm not sure if you've ever played Magic or other card games or witnessed any games, but the game-talk sounds completely confusing and nonsensical to outsiders, so i tried to make the game-talk in the comic sound like that, where it doesn't seem to make any sense because the reader isn't familiar with the game, but to Sparkle it makes complete sense.
