is there a type of ink you use, when i try my line work ends up running when i put watercolor over it, and i cant get the lines where i want them when i put the color down first

i use yasutomo sumi ink. it does run/bleed sometimes when i put watercolor or wash on top of it, but it can depend on the paper or how much water i'm using. it's tricky but i try to be careful. :)

This is crazy, I'm out a month and you throw up like 30 new illustrations from personal and professional projects!It's really impressive!
This one I think is my favorite out of the massive selection of recent art. The angle and expression are ambitious! Really liking the line work on the stripe as well.
