i wanted to do a picture for Halloween, but i know it's not technically the 31st anymore. i didn't get the chance to finish this in time, hehheh. oh well. anyway, here's Brundlefly from Cronenberg's spectacular 1986 The Fly. i guess Seth Brundle/Brundlefly 's arguably not really a "monster" in that he doesn't go around killing anyone or actually doing that much of anything except being gross, but he's one of my favorite movie monsters anyway.

so yeah, happy late halloween.

Here's a question, though; if he's The Fly, where are his wings? Shouldn't he be able to...you know, fly?

Even though you say you didn't finish this It looks pretty much done from over here. You captured the essence of the moment and the character.
this is done very well. It would seem he's reaching for Ms. Davis as she is scurrying away from him in fright

this movie was insane, my rendition of the brundle fly [link] not nearly as good as yours. this is fantastic and glittered with gorey detail, beautiful work
