Leonardo and Miyamoto Usagi! a while back i was a guest judge in a contest at #Pro-turtlecest, and i drew this for the super cool *Elphaba-Fae as a prize for her winning entry (check it out it's prose story so it's SFW but warning, rated NC-17!!).

This is so cool the way Leo being a ninja is naturally cautious, is so comfortable with Usagi that he can fall asleep in his arms very nicely done a great symbolism of their friendship and as usual a great piece all around!!!

There's something so special about this one. Your use of black and the simple colours are so powerful. And the idea that Leo could curl up with Usagi is so sweet. Another gorgeous addition to the fandom!

Usagi Yojimbo was one of those great examples of anthropomorphic work (a genre I'm generally totally cold to).  I still remember grabbing issue 1 from Fantagraphics so many moons ago.

The tree is fantastic. *Trying not to attempt to steal tree technique for WIP* :)
