Gosh... love her. Absolutely love her. She's thick, she's in her own way beautiful, AND she has glasses. Definitely prime material of a woman indeed. I love how your style incorporates with it all too. Seemingly real but still in its own way animated. Very awesome. Awesome.

Being older's a whole lot more liberating than thinking back on High School and any grade school level for that matter. Nowadays all you have to worry about is how much money you have.

I just saw your book in the June Previews today! I can't wait to get my hot little hands on a copy I love your variation on body types, how your work is so unique. Penny is one of my faves. I really like her with black hair even though I love your splashes of color.

Why does everyone comment on the weight of your female characters, favorably, or negatively? Hmmm . . . I actually never noticed it, not like that, it's simply how the characters are, and all your characters are wonderfully designed as they are . . . They're so . . . Human. I think realistic depictions of "weight" are probably part of that, but so is the state of their clothing and chosen environment, not to mention how they carry themselves, their demeanor, there's so many "human" elements in each of your characters. So many details.
Here, the human details that attract my attention, are the characters dress versus her environment, as her clothing is excellent condition, compared to the frayed clothing of your other Wet Moon characters, yet her room is disheveled. Oh! And her name . . . She could only be a "Penny." One look at her, and you simply think, "Penny." That's perfect.
I might also mention that I really like the subtle shading on her face . . . "Particularly," I mean.
funny how she looks like Cleo more than ever... she didn'tlook that much before.. maybe did she look thinner.
