eek! i think the eyes have gone a bit overboard for me...she's gone from looking cute in a sexy, relatable way to a creepy, blythe doll-sorta way. i love the blue and that outfit on her.

Awww. I'm not sure about the eyes, they look good but a bit Manga... then again, your work is still so far removed from Manga that a bit larger eyes doesn't matter. It looks cute, anyhow. And you know, this is the first time I see Cleo in something that actually looks comfortable. She always squeezes herself into tiny hotpants and skirts, and of course she's still wearing a little skirt here but the sweater looks really nice and comfy and soft. :-D

Random question, will we find out the significance of Grampa's mouth-bloodage in future episodes? :)

I'm gonna join the masses on the comments about the eyes. They're cute... but they seem a bit out of place. Her clothes are adorable, though, and the pose and colours are wicked.

thanks for the thoughts! the big eyes are definitely pushing her design, i guess that's part of why i like 'em. i don't know why i never drew Cleo in a hoodie before this, it seems like such a good fit for her. i guess maybe because it's always so hot where she lives, i dunno.

that mouth-blood dude was Fall's dad; there's a little bit on him in the next volume!
