found these when i was digging around in old folders! these were character sketches for The Abandoned 2, done way back in 2006 when the book was still supposed to happen.

trying to remember their names off the top of my head, left to right: Diesel, Skull, Tusk, Squid, Buzz, JC, Shark, and Sword. pretty sure those are right, it's been a while.

kind of embarrassing seeing these now, but that's how it goes with artwork you've done years ago. i would definitely design these characters differently now.

you can still find used copies out there for decent prices, every so often some decently-priced copies will show up on Amazon, you just have to keep checking.

sometimes i think about putting the whole comic online for free but i think i might get in trouble. maybe i'll do it if i ever get around to doing the rest of the story (under a different title of course).

Hm, that seems reasonable. I found it on Amazon.com but aside from that it's been difficult. Maybe under a different name and (possibly) colored. That way it can be "different" from what you gave them.
