this is for *jisuk's playing card deck project: [link]

i did Mmadipetsane, a story from Lesotho about the titular character who, despite the warnings of her mother, picks spinach and roots in the field belonging to a cannibal called the ledimo. hijinks and a grim lesson ensue.

artist's choice. the theme is just "dark fairy tales" with the restriction of focusing on human(oid) characters.

I really like that piece, the whole image brings forth a lot of ideas and story in itself. But after reading your discription I am now wondering the whole story. Who is Lesotho and what is the story ?
